JAMB announces dates for 2024 UTME registration, exam and mock

JAMB has announced the dates for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This was made known in a statement made available by the JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the board, the sales of forms will commence from 15th January to 26th February 2024 while the main exam will be held from April 19th to 29th, 2024. For all prospective candidates for the 2024 UTME, the best time to start your preparation is now. Meanwhile, 7th March 2024, has been slated for the 2024 MOCK-UTME, while the main UTME will hold from 19th to 29th April 2024. Candidates can make decisions on their intended schools of choice and courses using the JAMB brochure. You can equally use the JAMB Syllabus to know the topics to cover in each subject for the exam, although the official JAMB novel for this year will likely change.

JAMB Direct Entry (DE) candidates will be required to take part in cognitive and verbal reasoning tests as from 2024. This was affirmed by the Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. To read more on this, please read more here.

Candidates will be expected to print their examination slips as from 10th April 2024. Candidates are to take note of these dates and other advisories issued by the Board in relation to the administration of the examination.
