The release of the concluded 2020 UTME results has been on the front page of every newspaper dailies. Parents and candidates are agitating for the release of the results so they can confirm the school or course that best matches their UTME scores.
There were rumors that the 2020 UTME had been released but according to the spokeman of JAMB, Dr Fabian Benjamin, candidates who took the 2020 UTME should disregard the rumours and misleading information that the board has released the results of the exam, he made it clear that no results have been released yet. He said despite the fact that the results are ready, they are still being ratified.
He efforts are being made to ensure that results of the 2020 UTME are released after the Easter break. He stated that the board will reach out to candidates through their telephone numbers as as soon as all the results are ratified.
He further explained that the board is carrying out all the checks and balances regarding the results by way of viewing the CCTV camera as well as attend to all findings brought before it while the examination lasted.
“The release of the result will be publicised as soon as we are through with all the board has set out to achieve, we will let the public know
“Candidates should not bother themselves going to any cyber cafe to check any result because the 2020 UTME results will be sent to their phone numbers.”
According to him, “Our result check has been standardised. We will forward the results to the respective telephone numbers of those candidates who are deserving of it,” he said.
