The Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dibu Ojerinde while briefing journalists on Tuesday said that there is a decrease in the number of applicants in the 2014 UTME applications. And attributed this to the present security challenge in the country

According to him, the number of candidates coming from the north-east is relatively lower than last year and this has contributed to lesser candidates this year compared to last year.

The figure for the 2014 UTME shows a decrease of 129,139 when compared with last year’s total figure of 1,735,892.
