Insecurity: Abuja schools made to write 13 exams in one day over terrorists threats

Following the hurried closure of Federal government colleges in the federal capital territory, Abuja, over threats of possible terrorist attacks, it has been revealed that students in some of those schools were made to write all their promotional exams in one day.

According to Sahara reporters, a student of Kubwa Model Junior Secondary School, Abuja, complained about how they were made to write 13 subjects on Tuesday, July 26, after going to school with the intention of writing just one or two subjects.

The student added that they were traumatized as they were scared of possible attacks.

Another boarding house student revealed that they were summoned to the classroom around 9 pm, on Monday night, to write two subjects, and later on Tuesday, they sat for more papers just as their parents were waiting to pick them up within the school’s premises.

A teacher who spoke anonymously explained that because of the rush, the students were made to answer questions in section “A” of the exam paper, which has objectives, while they were not allowed to attempt any question in section “B”, the essay part.

Recall that the Federal Ministry of Education had ordered the immediate closure of all schools in the nation’s capital due to possible terrorist attacks.
