IMSU announces commencement of evening ICEP admission

This is to bring to the notice of the University Community that the Acting Vice-Chancellor has on behalf of Senate approved the commencement of Evening Programmes under the coordination of the Institute for Continuing Education Programme (ICEP).

Lectures in these Evening Programmes will start from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm daily, that is, Monday through Friday. Each Programme has been designed to run for a duration of five (5) academic years and will lead to the award of Bachelor Degrees in the approved courses. At the end of theĀ five years, successful students will be mobilized for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in line with current NUC guidelines.

The Admission Requirements are exactly the same with the requirements of the Regular Programmes. Candidates for the Evening programmes must have scored JAMB'S minimum mark of 160. The Programmes will commence in this 2020/2021 academic session.

Interested candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of Seventy Thousand Naira (#70,000) to a designated Bank/Account to be provided by the University Bursary. Available Courses in the Evening Programmes are as follows:

2) Management

3) Marketing

4) Banking & Finance

5) Economics

6) Political Science

7) Government and Public Administration

8) Sociology

9) Psychology

10) History and International Studies

11) Education Accountancy

12) Education Government

13) Education Economics

14) Education English
