Important Information for the Graduates of AUN

About the processional

Graduating Students should plan to arrive at the Peter Okocha building foyer at 8:00am.

When caps and gowns, are picked up, students will receive instructions listing specific line-up locations.

About the commencement ceremony

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10a.m. and last for approximately 2 hours.
Students will be called to the stage and their names will be announced during the ceremony.

A university-hired, commercial photographer will photograph each student approaching the stage and shaking hands with the AUN President, Chairman of the Board, Founder, the Deans and other dignitaries.

No alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted at commencement. This regulation will be strictly enforced.

Class of 2013 Photo

All graduates will have the Class of 2013 Photo taken immediately after the Commencement Ceremony; there will be someone to direct you on where to go.

Class Rings

All graduates who ordered or want to order a class ring should e-mail or stop by the President’s Office (AS207) to fill out order forms.

Diploma Collection

Diplomas (degree certificate) will be available

for pick up, in Yola, on dates/times specified by the Office of the Registrar. All graduates will receive an e-mail when diplomas are available.

All fees/holds outstanding must be paid and/or removed prior to receiving the diploma.

Commencement Updates

Graduates should activate and maintain their AUN email accounts after graduation. All graduation announcements and information will be communicated via your AUN email address only.

Please note your AUN email address is valid for life.
