To be considered for admission into Imo State Poly undergraduate part-time programme, candidates must meet the general entry admission requirements as well as the departmental requirement for the course being applied for.
National Diploma (ND) Programme Part-Time Requirement
Candidates applying for admission Imo Poly ND programme must possess the following before application;
- Five (5) credit passes in the relevant subjects in SSCE (WASC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics. Other relevant subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Government, Geography, Commerce, Accounts etc.
- Please note that candidates awaiting the results of the above examination Boards may also apply.

- Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to have a minimum of five O/L Credits in relevant subjects at SSCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
- CREDIT PASSES IN MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL APPLICANTS SEEKING ADMISSION INTO ANY PROGRAMME IN THE POLYTECHNIC. IN ADDITION, THE OTHER THREE SUBJECTS MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE COURSE OF CHOICE.
