The management of Igbinedion University, a renowned institution known for its commitment to excellence in education, has announced the release of the school fees structure for the 2023/2024 academic session. This update affects both new and returning undergraduate students.

Igbinedion University’s School Fees Structure

The school fees structure applies to both fresh students and those returning for the 2023/2024 academic session. It’s worth noting the following:

  1. All fees can be paid online through the university portal or via e-Tranzact platform at Access Bank, Zenith Bank, or First Bank.
  2. Once paid, fees are neither refundable nor transferable.
  3. Forgery of e-Tranzact slips is a serious offence, attracting a fine of N50,000.
  4. The Access Bank Hostel is exclusively for female students in 200 Level and above.
  5. Direct Entry (DE) Students will continue paying the same fee as when they were admitted.

Fee Payment Procedure

Igbinedion University provides two options for students to pay their school fees:

Option 1: Online Payment

The university’s portal supports payment through ATM cards. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make your payment online:

  1. Login to the portal here.
  2. Select “Payments” from “My Data” menu.
  3. Click on the “Add current session payment” button for the current session or “Custom/Balance Payment” button to pay for tuition.
  4. Select the fee category you want to pay for from the “Payment Category”.
  5. Click on “create payment”.
  6. Take note of the “payment_id” of the payment item you just created.
  7. Choose your payment method:
    • Interswitch: Click on the “Pay via Interswitch CollegePay” button to pay with your ATM card.
    • Etranzact: Click on the “Pay via Etranzact WebConnect” button to pay with your ATM card.

Option 2: Direct Bank Payment

For those preferring to pay directly at the bank, the following steps guide the process:

  1. Login to the portal here.
  2. Select “Payments” from “My Data” menu.
  3. Click on the “Add current session payment” button for the current session or “Custom/Balance Payment” button to pay for tuition.
  4. Select the fee category you want to pay for from the “Payment Category”.
  5. Click on “create payment”.
  6. Take note of the “Payment Id” for the payment item you just created.
  7. Bring the “Payment Id” to the bank to complete the payment.

It’s also important to note that the university permits fee payment in installments, with a maximum of three payments.

This new development is a strategic move from Igbinedion University, showing its commitment to providing flexibility in fee payment, to ensure uninterrupted learning for its students. Students and guardians are encouraged to follow the laid-out procedure to facilitate a smooth academic session.
