The Governing Council of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has approved the appointment of Alhaji Idris Saleh Kusherki as a new Registrar for the Institution.
Presenting the letter of appointment at the Board Room of the University's Consultancy office in Minna, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Major General Idris Garba(rtd), represented by Professor Muhammad Bashar Nuhu, urged the new Registrar to rededicate himself to the tenents of University administration for a successful tenure.
He stated that to whom much is given, much is expected, stressing that University administration is very demanding and must be tackled head on.
The Chairman advised the new University Scribe to accommodate and carry every one along in order to have a smooth and effective tenure.
Until his appointment, Alhaji Kusherki was the Deputy Registrar in charge of Establishment matters.
The appointment is with effect from 1st January, 2022.
In attendance were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Musa Abubakar Sadeeq, Vice Chancellor, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu and the outgoing Registrar, Alhaji Musa Ango Abdullahi.
