The management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University has announced to the general public especially newly admitted students that the Matriculation Ceremony for freshers who recently got admitted into IBBU for the 2024/2025 academic session has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 18th April, 2024.
Every student participating in the Matriculation exercise students is mandated to be present at the venue for procession according to their respective Faculties by 10:am at the venue.
Please note that this matriculation ceremony is compulsory for all newly admitted students that gained admission into IBBU either via UTME or Direct Entry method as attendance will be taken because you will be required to sign the Matriculation Register immediately after the event is over.

This is to inform parents, students and the general public that the 17th Regular, 5th Part-time and Long Vacation Training Matriculation for newly admitted students of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai for 2024/2025 academic session comes up as follows
- Date: Thursday, 18th April, 2024
- Venue: Abdulsalami A. Abubakar Convocation Arena, Main Campus, Lapai
- Time: 10:00am prompt
All matriculating student are to be seated by 9:00am.
The matriculation ceremony is not only a formal event to officially welcome the new cohort of students but also an opportunity for attendees to experience the vibrant community and the academic excellence that IBBU embodies.
