IAUE Vice Chancellor commended for infrastructural development

The Vice-Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele has been commended for recording rapid infrastructural development in the institution. The Etche United Brothers Association gave the commendation when they paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his office.

In a speech read by the Secretary of the Association Mr Franklin Onyeche, the group described as commendable his good leadership style and record broken as the first Vice Chancellor from the Etche ethnic nationality.

They also observed that the administration of Professor Ndimele as the Vice-Chancellor from the Etche extraction has shown that he has the capacity to do the greater good if given the opportunity to aspire to a higher position.

The Etche United Brothers Association expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for the enrollment of many Etche sons and daughters into the various disciplines of studies and stated that he has shown that he is truly an Etche personality with the interest of Etche people and Rivers State at heart.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele lauded the Etche United Brothers Association made up of youths for coming together to prosper the Etche nation.

He however regretted that some of them have lost focus and derailed and were in the habit of persecuting their own.

Professor Ndimele urged the group to do more by rallying round and giving support to Etche sons and daughters in positions of trust.

He also challenged them to invest in their education for self-development and emphasized that he will do the best he can for Etche ethnic nationality and the University.

In his vote of thanks, the President of Etche United Brothers Association, Mr Goodluck Amadi applauded the Vice-Chancellor for the wise counsel and assured that the group will continue to preach peace, restore the glory of Etche people and support him in any way they can.

Etche United Brothers Association Port-Harcourt branch was established on August 14, 2017 with the sole aim of bringing Etche brothers together to address various challenges facing the Etche nation.

Their vision is to promote peaceful coexistence, inter-communal dialogue and support good leadership around Etche nationality
