The Management of Ignatius Ajuru university has a circular information officially announcing its CONVOCATION Ceremony to hold on DECEMBER 19, 2020.
The statement read thus;
"Subject to the approval of the Executive Governor of Rivers State and Visitor to the University His Excellency Chief (Barrister) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (CON), Senate on Wednesday October 14th, 2020 fixed Saturday December 19th as convocation day. Senate also approved Saturday November 7, 2020 as Matriculation day for the 2019/2020 academic session students.
Chairman of Senate and Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele while speaking at the meeting said that students who are not academically sound will be asked to withdraw while those on borderline will be put on probation. This move is to enable lecturers give better and quality service to serious minded and hard working students
The National Universities Commission (NUC) is expected at the university by the end of December for the accreditation of 19 programmes."
