The management of the Ignatius Ajuru University Of Education (IAUE) has published the procedure for name harmonization exercise for all students to avoid disqualification from National Youths Service after graduation from the university.
IAUE Name Harmonization Exercise
The attention of the university management had been drawn to the name discrepancies affecting some students in the university. Therefore the name harmonization exercise is recommended for all students to avoid disqualification from National Youths Service after graduation from the university.
Affected students are hereby advised to follow the procedures below:
- Check the name on your JAMB admission letter to ensure it corresponds with the name on your O’ Level result. Note that if the name corresponds, you are not affected.
- Where the name on your O’ Level result and the name on your JAMB admission letter does not correspond, please do the following:
- Proceed to JAMB Zonal Office for data correction (Name Correction Request) with the following requirements:
- Pay the sum of N2,500 only to JAMB via ATM card at JAMB Zonal Office.
- O’ Level Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- JAMB original result.
After processing, return the processed name correction form to the correspondence unit of the Vice Chancellor’s office for proper verification of the student’s claim before signing. After the Vice Chancellor’s signature, the admission’s office will return the signed form to the JAMB office for approval and correction.
Please all affected students should engage in this exercise before applying for the National Youths Service programme.
