Let us assume Sarah scored 240 in his UTME and scores 80 in his post UTME, Sarah’s Sarah aggregate score would be calculated as follows:
- a) JAMB score divided by 8 that is, 240/8 =30%
- b) Post UTME score divided by 2, that is, 80/2 = 40%
Then sum up both scores together, that is, 30% + 40% = 70%
Therefore, Sarah aggregate score would be 70% out of 100% and this is considered above average. In O’Level settings, this is considered an “A” hence a candidate’s chances of gaining admission is very high.
