How To Apply For Temporarily Withdrawal From Any University In Nigeria

Temporal withdrawal from the university is rare. However, there are candidates or returning students who for one reason or the other opt to temporarily withdraw from the university or polytechnic but are confused as regards the steps to be taken. This post will be very helpful for these sets of students as it contains the requirements and step by step approach required in applying for temporal withdrawal from any university in Nigeria.

Please note that there is a difference between temporal withdrawal and forceful withdrawal (Asked to withdraw by the authority of the institution) from the university or polytechnic. The former comes up when you are being forced to withdraw from the institution for an offence committed either directly or indirectly while the latter simple is a voluntary action by the student.

Also be reminded that temporal withdrawal is different from deferment of admission. Please read about deferment on admission here as you might prefer to defer rather than withdraw temporarily.
