Welcome to the complex world of stainless steel kitchenware! From sourcing premium ingredients to  meticulous attention to detail at every stage of production, our commitment to excellence remains unchanged. But before diving into the manufacturing steps, let’s discuss the importance of stainless steel in cookware and why manufacturing quality matters.

Importance of stainless steel in cookware

Stainless steel, the foundation of our workmanship, is revered in the culinary world. Renowned for their durability, corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance, stainless steel is truly the mainstay. But in addition to these practical attributes, it also provides optimal heat distribution, ensuring an even cooking surface, an essential feature for professional  and home cooks alike. At KÖBACH, we accept the challenge of turning this material into cookware that not only meets but exceeds  expectations.

It is about maintaining strict quality control, incorporating sustainable practices, and continuously improving through innovation and technology.

For us, every  KÖBACH cookware carries with it our reputation, our promise to you, and our passion to deliver only the very best. We invite you to join us as we explore this journey in the following sections.

Stainless steel cookware manufacturing process: A step-by-step overview

As we embark on this journey of discovery, I invite you to observe the meticulousness and care  in each stage of the production process at KÖBACH. Take a look at our world-class stainless steel cookware production steps.

Sourcing of Raw Materials: Securing the Best Start

It all starts with securing first-class raw materials. We  pride ourselves on forming strong and lasting partnerships with our suppliers, based on a shared commitment to quality and sustainability. Rigorous quality testing ensures that we work with the finest materials possible, laying the foundation for our high-quality cookware.

Material selection: the foundation of quality cookware

At KÖBACH we accept not only the materials that are supplied to us; We evaluate them carefully. We test the purity and consistency of our samples, assess our suppliers’ ethical and sustainability standards, and carefully negotiate pricing and delivery terms. This careful selection process is necessary to maintain the high standards we set for our cookware.

Pressing: shaping cookware

The transformation begins with the pressing process, where our stainless steel billet takes the form of a pan. The material is pulled through a series of dies with precise control, ensuring  uniform shape and  desired quality. It’s a remarkable transition from a flat plate to something that’s starting to look like your favorite cookware.

Cutting and Rolling: Shape Finishing

After pressing, advanced machinery and precise blade positioning cuts stainless steel into shape. Edges are rolled for a smooth, burr-free surface, and all waste is responsibly recycled. This stage is very important to ensure the ergonomics, safety and aesthetics of the cookware.

Cleaning & Drying: Ensuring perfect hygiene and aesthetics

Cleanliness is a top priority in our process. Each cookware undergoes a thorough cleaning process to remove dust and contaminants. It is sprayed with water, soaked in a cleaning solution, rinsed  and dried with a hot air blower. This step ensures that the cookware has a clean, smooth surface ready for the next step.

Sandblasting: Surface preparation

After cleaning, the cookware is sandblasted with high-speed abrasive particles. This process removes any residual impurities, creating a lightly textured surface that improves the adhesion of non-stick coatings or other surface treatments.

Non-stick coating: Improve usability

With the cookware preheated and sandblasted, it’s time to apply a non-stick coating. This coating, which hardens at high temperatures, forms a durable bond that improves the  usability of cookware and is easy to clean. Meticulous quality checks follow this step, ensuring that each product meets our stringent standards.

Laser Engraving: Exact Marking Deployment

Then our lasers go live, etching logos or designs onto kitchenware with unsurpassed precision. This step ensures consistent branding across all of our products, a visual testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Packing: the final step into the kitchen

The final step is packing. Automated machines carefully pack, label and pack cookware for shipping. Here, we take a moment to appreciate the journey each piece has taken, from a humble stainless steel drum to a culinary masterpiece ready for your kitchen.
