The Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship Programme for the 2023/2024 academic year is now open for applications. Targeting residents of Nasarawa state, particularly from the Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency, this scholarship aims to eliminate financial and social barriers to higher education.

For the upcoming academic session (2023/24), the scholarship invites applications from students admitted to recognized Nigerian universities pursuing accredited programs.
Benefits
This scholarship will cover all expenses incurred throughout the candidate's education until graduation.

Requirements:
To qualify for the undergraduate Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. Reside in Nasarawa state, particularly from the Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency.
2. Apply to a public tertiary institution with fulfillment of all admission requirements.
3. Directors, Officers, and employees of the Sponsor or the Administrator, including their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advisors, and promotional agencies, along with their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
4. Preparedness to enroll in a full-time program by January 2024.
5. Submit of proof of economic and social challenges hindering university access.
Application Procedure:
Applicants will be assessed based on the following criteria:
1. Jamb Score
2. Evaluation of the essay focusing on thoughtfulness, relevance, composition quality, and grammatical precision.
3. Preference given to those with financial needs and high academic performance.
4. Only one application per person is allowed.
