A 200-level student from the Department of Law, Lagos State University, Oyindamola Togbola was found dead on the morning of Tuesday, May 31 along the LASU-Igando road, Lagos state in an apparent hit and run accident.
The university's students' union president who confirmed the incident said an ambulance has picked up the deceased’s corpse and taken her to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
Tajudeen Olumoko, the institution’s Dean of Students’ Affairs (DSA), said the deceased’s family has been informed of the sad incident and had accompanied them to deposit her body at the morgue
He added that Oyindamola was hit by an unknown driver on Monday night while she was returning home from her friend's place.
