The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, has released a statement confirming the abduction of primary school pupils and teachers in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state, today.
The incident occurred at a Local Education Authority ( LEA) Primary School in Rema, Birnin Gwari local government area at about 8 am on Monday, March 15, 2021.
The statement further states that the state government is currently obtaining details on the actual number of pupils and teachers reported to have been kidnapped and will issue a comprehensive statement as soon as possible.
This is the third school attack in Kaduna since last Thursday.
