No fewer than four students of the Kogi State Polytechnic were allegedly kidnapped by gunmen, along the Akunnu-Ajowa road, in the Akoko area of Ondo state.
The students were said to have been ambushed at the Ago Jinadu Axis, in Akoko, on Friday, December 23 while traveling home from school.
The Ikare Police Area Commander, ACP Muri Agboola, who confirmed the report said his men have been combing forests along the Akunnu-Ajowa Akoko road to rescue the abducted students.
