In the continued struggle for the restoration of the Students' Union Government, the students of Obafemi Awolowo University gathered early this morning in their numbers to protest the continued denial of their right by the school management.
The mobilization of students for the scientific 'aluta' started as early as 6:00am as comrades were present at all halls of residence to intimate the students on how the protest will be cordinated. The protest finally kicked off at Anglomoz car park from where they went to major lecture theatres to boycott lectures. The students' resilience was further confirmed when they got to the school senate building as they chant anti-management slogans.
The protest came to an end for the day as they all converged at the locked students' union building where some students were selected to go and hold a press conference in the state capital with media representatives.
