Gone are the days when Obafemi Awolowo University campus experience almost full day power supply. These are the words been said by the great Ife students since the start of her second semester.
It came to its climax in the past two days, the whole community has been thrown to total darkness without ANY release from the school management as at the time of this report stating the reason for the power failure.
This is very unusual in this great citadel of learning where the students of this institution could boast of a regular power supply. Most of the students have continued to express their displeasure in the way the Prof. Bamitale Omole led-administration relate with her students.
This act is said by some students not to be unconnected to the fact that the Students' Union Government of the school has been proscribed and undue taking advantage of the students powerless nature. To worsen the situation, students were seen forming long queues to be able to access water supply in a discouraging manner.
The whole GREAT IFE students are using this medium to beg the varsity administration to please restore the power back because this has caused a great untold hardship to the student populace which increases day after day.
