The governor of Cross River State, prof. Ben Ayade has signed into law a bill aimed at renaming the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) to 'UNICROSS'.
With the change in name, the state owned university becomes a conventional university that can offer courses such as Law, Medicine etc.
