GOMSU 2016/2017 Part-time Degree Admission Form Is On Sale

The Gombe State University, GOMSU 2016/2017 Part-time Degree Admission has been announced. Suitably qualified candidates are therefore invited to apply for admission into the part-time degree programme of the university in the following courses;

-B. S.c [Hons] Public Administration
-B. S.c [Hons] Business Administration
-B.A. [Ed] Hons. Education English
-B.A. [Ed] Hons. Education History
-B.A. [Ed] Hons. Education C.R.S
-B.A. [Ed] Hons. Education I.R.S

Level Of Entry
There are two level of entries; 100 Level  and 200 Level ( For Direct Entry)
Duration Of The Programme
The Part-Time Degree Programme lasts for Four [4] years for 200 Level (Those admitted through direct entry) and Five (5) Years Programme for those admitted into 100 Level. The programme leads to the ward of B. Sc., B.A, B.A. (Ed) Degrees.

Lectures/Contacts are usually held on weekends; specifically, Friday and Saturdays all through the semester

The Admission Requirements
a. Candidates for admission into ONE (1) Year (100 Level) Should possess 5 Credits in relevant subjects in Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE). This must include English Language and Mathematics.
b. Candidates for admission into FOUR (4) Years (200 Level) should posses in addition to 5 relevant Credits in Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations ([SSCE) which must include English Language and Mathematics; The following
i. At least Two GCE A Level /IJMB Subjects which passes
ii. Diploma from a recognized institution
iii. National Certificate in Education from a recognized institution

How To Apply
The application costs a  non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5000) which is to be paid to the Bursary of Gombe State University.

The payment is to be made into the following account details;

Account Number: 9202350664 After payment of the application fees, candidates are to take the Teller/Depositors Slip to the Bursary Unit of the University. An official receipt of the payment will be issued to you.
Afterwards, visit the Office Of The Director and collect the form
Application Deadline
The sales of application form closes on Friday 14th April, 2017.
