The students cited the snatching of phones by security officers and the diversion of meals meant for students as part of the reasons for the protest.
The Gombe state Information Officer (IO) of the Ministry of Education, Saidu Bappah Malala, who spoke o newsmen said that the committee set up by the ministry was given three days to submit a report of its findings to the commissioner.
