Remember the story of miss Goodness Thomas, an indigene of Niger state that was denied admission in ABU Zaria to study medicine and surgery mainly due to catchment area? She was the best graduating student of St. Clement's Secondary School, Gbaiko Minna for year 2019, and had scored six A1s in her Senior School Certificate Examination, 302 and 278 in JAMB and Post UTME respectively. well all is now in order as the Governor of Benue state, Samuel Otom has directed that miss Goodness Thomas be placed on a scholarship and given admission into Benue state University to study her preferred course.
The governor said young people should be encouraged to excel in their chosen careers, irrespective of religion, tribe and place of origin. Congrats to Miss Goodness.
