Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship board invites application from Nigerian Undergraduate Students.
This scholarship is worth 2million and it will be provided to 20 students which is 100,000 thousand Naira each.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be poor indigenes of Nigeria.
- Applicants must have good academic performance.
- Applicants must be a registered undergraduate student of any tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Application Process
- Interested applicants should submit an application letter not more than two pages. The letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.
- The application must be accompanied by the following:
i) A photocopy of the candidate’s current Identity Card;
ii) A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session.
iii) A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution.
iv) A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester, and
v) Two (2) current passport photographs.
The application letter, with all the supporting documents, should be forwarded (by hand or postal delivery) to:

Interview
(1) Calabar: Applicants will be interviewed on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. at the ASUU Secretariat, University of Calabar Campus.
(2) Bauchi: Applicants will be interviewed on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. at the ASUU Secretariat, Abubakar Tafawa Belewa University Campus.
(3) Lagos: Applicants will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. at the Nigerian Law Publications House, Otunba Jobi Fele-Way, C. B. D, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
