FUTO warns against unruly celebration on completion of final year exams

This is to bring your attention to the unruly excitements students now exhibit on completing their second semester final examinations especially. These excitements often degenerate to acts such as pouring on themselves liquids like water from sachets, drinks and even toxic chemicals.

This unruly behaviour does not only leave the university environment littered with empty sachets of water but often results in some students finding themselves in the hospitals to the embarrassment of both: University Management and Parents/Guardians. This jungle behaviour cannot be tolerated in a civilized environment like ours.

The University Management has frowned at this ugly development and has therefore directed that it should be put to a stop immediately. It is, therefore, an offence for any student or group of students to celebrate the end of examinations in this unruly manner and any student(s) caught will be dealt with severely. Deans and HODs will be held responsible for any breach of this directive.

Please let us keep our students safe and environment clean.
