FUTO Post-UTME/DE Eligibility Requirements
a) JAMB Cut Off Mark: Candidates must score at least 180 and above in the 2024 UTME and must have selected Federal University of Technology, Owerri as their first choice of Institution in their 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.
b) Candidates who did not choose Federal University of Technology, Owerri as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are ELIGIBLE to apply for FUTO Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate(s) must have successfully completed a change of Institution and course to Federal University of Technology, Owerri on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.
c) Candidates with AWAITING RESULTS despite choosing FUTO as their 1st choice of institution during the 2024 UTME registration or changed their institution and course to Federal University of Technology, Owerri are also NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for FUTO post UTME form online.
d) FUTO O’Level Requirements: Candidate must have obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent. The subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics (for courses for which a credit in mathematics is required) as well as three other relevant subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings.
e) FUTO DE Requirement: Candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree and A’ Level in relevant discipline and subjects.
How To Apply For FUTO Post UTME/DE Screening Form
Please note that before starting your application, you need to have an active email address. This is needed for receiving information from FUTO as regards the progress of your application form.
To apply for FUTO post UTME form online, candidates must adhere strictly to the following guidelines:
STEP 1: Visit the University website: www.futo.edu.ng
STEP 2: Click on “Prospective students”
STEP 3: Click on the link; “2024/2025 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
STEP 4: Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
STEP 5: Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
STEP 6: Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
STEP 7: Proceed with the completion of the form.
STEP 8: Correctly enter your O’Level results (where available).
STEP 9: Confirm your entries.
STEP 10: Submit your application.
