FUTO Post UTME/DE Admission Form 2024/2025 Session - How To Apply

FUTO Post UTME Admission form for 2024/2025 admission year is not out. The management of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) hereby informs the general public that registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening Tests of Federal University of Technology, Owerri, will be announced as soon as the form for 2024/2025 is out.

FUTO Post UTME Eligibility Criteria For UTME & DE Candidates

Score Up To The Minimum JAMB Cut Off Mark: Candidates must score at least 160 and above in the 2024/2025 UTME and must have selected Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) their first choice Institution in their 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.

Candidates who did not choose FUTO as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are eligible to apply for Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate must have successfully completed a ‘Change of Institution and Course to Federal University of Technology, Owerri on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.

O’Level Requirements: Both UTME and DE candidates applying for FUTO Post UTME are expected to have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, English language, and 3 other subjects relevant to your course of study.

How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Form Online

Firstly, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of two-thousand naira (N2,000) only. To register, follow the steps outlined below:

STEP 1: Visit the University website: futo.edu.ng

STEP 2: Click on Prospective students and click on the link; “2024/2025 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.

STEP 3: Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).

STEP 4: Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card and return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.

STEP 5: Proceed with the completion of the form and enter your correct WAEC or NECO results.

STEP 6: Confirm your entries and you can go ahead to submit your application.

STEP 7: Print out your acknowledgement slip and wait for further communication from the University.

Important Note:

  1. Candidates are expected to input a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communications.
  2. Candidates are advised to upload their O’level results on JAMB Porta.
  3. Categories of candidates who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified to participate in the forthcoming FUTO Aptitude Test.
  4. Lastly, candidates who fail to successfully submit their application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to 1-4 above;

  • Please ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri on/before the closing date.
  • Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for admission.

The management announced that the post UTME and DE form deadline is 31st October, 2024.
