The internal 1 week strike conducted by staff of the Federal University of Technology, Akure has been suspended.
The suspension came Tuesday after Federal Government said that cash backing mapped out for the nation's universities had not yet been given to universities for payment of the Non Salary Allowances.
It would be recalled that the staff of futa, 1 week ago, had demanded the payment of the hazard allowance.
Students and staff of the University are by this notice informed to resume school immediately to begin the 1st Semester Examinations which were postponed due to the strike action.
