The Federal University of Technology, Akure hostel accommodation for students is conducive for students. Though FUTA hostel accommodation fee varies from hostel to hostel. I will list the hostel fees below so it is up to you to decide if you are going to be interested in making use of the school hostel or renting an a room outside the FUTA campus. Please note that hostel accommodation in FUTA is not compulsory. However, it is advised that fresh students especially stay within the school campus at least in their first year.

FUTA Hostel Accommodation Fee 2024/2025 Academic Session
Below is the hostel accommodation fee for all hostels in FUTA. The hostel accommodation is for both fresh and returning students for 2024/2025 academic session.
Hostel Accommodation Fee is 18,000 Naira per student.
How To Apply For FUTA Hostel Accommodation 2024/2025 Session
On how to apply for FUTA hostel accommodation fee, newly admitted students are to follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Log in to your Portal account
Step 2 – Click on the hostel allocation menu
Step 3 – Click on “Generate Hostel reservation”
Step 4 – Select the Hostel type
Step 5 – Generate Hostel Allocation payment invoice
Step 6 – Proceed to FUTO MFB for payment with the generated payment invoice
Step 7 – After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal with the e-Pin generated in the bank.
Step 8 – Click on Print Hostel reservation receipt to print the allocated ROOM.
Print the allocated room on the receipt and proceed to the Student Affairs Unit for further clearance.
NOTE:
- FUTA bed space allocation will be on ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS’ as hostel accommodation is limited.
