FUTA Departments Receive Full Accreditation from COMEG

In a significant development in Nigeria’s educational landscape, five departments from the School of Earth and Mineral Sciences at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) have been conferred with full accreditation status. The endorsement by the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG) is effective from 1st January 2022 and will remain valid until December 2025.

The accredited departments at FUTA are B. Tech. Applied Geology, B. Tech. Applied Geophysics, B. Tech. Marine Science and Technology, B. Tech. Remote Sensing and Geoscience, and B. Eng.
