Seun Oladipupo an alumnus of the Federal University of Technology has been selected by the Pest Management Foundation Board of Trustees of Auburn University , Alabama USA as the recipient of a scholarship in support of his studies in urban entomology.
According to the board,"The awards recognize students for their academic excellence and students on track to be the future of the structural pest management industry." Oladipupo who graduated with a Second Class Upper Degree in Biology in FUTA is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Entomology at Auburn University's Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology. The scholarship is in support of his current study at the same institution.
The Vice-Chancellor of FUTA Professor Joseph Fuwape has congratulated Oladipupo urging him to utilise the scholarship to expand the frontiers of knowledge . He said he has joined the growing list of FUTA distinguished Alumni doing the University proud all over the world
