The attention of the management of the Federal University of Technology Akure,F UTA has been drawn to a series of messages from some individuals claiming to have the ability to manipulate the results of the Post UTME Screening Exercise for interested candidates. This is nothing but patent scam by fraudsters.
The Fraudsters are also asking candidates through social media platforms and other Channels to call some phone numbers to facilitate the upgrading of their scores.
The general public is hereby notified that the spurious claims and misleading information is the handiwork of scammers who want to fraudulently extort money from unsuspecting Candidates and their parents and guardians .
For the avoidance of doubt no individual ,either internally or externally, can manipulate, in anyway or form, the results of the screening exercise and the admission process.
The admission process in FUTA is merit driven and insulated from manipulation and other malpractices.
Members of the general public particularly candidates seeking admission into FUTA should be wary of the activities of Fraudsters as FUTA will not be responsible for the loss incurred by those who choose to deal with the Fraudsters and their cronies
