This is to inform all those who sat for FUTA post UTME that FUTA admission list 2024/2025 is out.
Candidates can now go online to check their admission status. We have outline steps on how to check your admission status below.
Upon admission, prospective students are advised to carry the following documents along to the university:
Documents required for Internal screening:
- Firstly, candidates must beat the current FUTA departmental cut off mark as fixed by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) and must have been offered provisional admission from JAMB to study at FUTA
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects as it relates to his or her course of study.
- Original copy of JAMB result slip
- Original documents which includes ‘O’ level certificates please note that awaiting results are not accepted by FUTA
- Original copy of your birth certificate or birth declaration
- Secondary School Testimonial
- Eight (4) recent passport photographs (to be on the safe side)

How To Check FUTA Admission List 2024/2025 Session
The management/school authority of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has released the list of admitted candidates for 2024/2025 academic session therefore candidates are advised to visit the school portal for confirmation of their admission status.
Steps On How To Check Your FUTA Admission Status
STEP 1: Visit https://www.futa.edu.ng/firars/welcome/admissions
STEP 2: Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided
STEP 3: Click on “Submit” to check your admission status
How To Check FUTA Admission List via JAMB CAPS
STEP 1: Visit JAMB CAPS
STEP 2: Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
STEP 3: Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
STEP 4: Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
STEP 5 – Click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your FUTA admission status.
