You will recall that the Federal Government directed all Universities to suspend academic activities between Wednesday, 22nd February and Tuesday 14th March 2023 in view of the forthcoming General Elections.
Arising from the above, the 2022/2023 Academic Session calendar has been revised as shown in the table below:
FIRST SEMESTER
DATE ACTIVITIES
- Wed 15th March 2023 - Resumption of academic activities/registration for fresh & old students
- Wed 22nd March 2023 - Matriculation Ceremony
- Friday 31st March 2023 - End of registration
- Friday 14th April 2023 - End of lectures for first semester
SECOND SEMESTER
- Mon 29th May 2023 - Resumption for second semester
- Friday 1st September - End of lectures for second semester
- Mon 4th September - Revision
- Mon 11th September - Second Semester examination
