The management of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), is inviting applications from suitably qualified members of the public to apply for their 2024/2025 academic session pre-degree programmes admission. The cost of the form is Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) though closing date is yet to be announced.
The procedure in applying for FUPRE pre-degree form has all been laid down for all candidates below, please read carefully and apply as and when due.
FUPRE Pre-Degree Admission Requirements
O’level Requirement: Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 credit passes including English Languages and Mathematics in not more than two (2) examination Sittings.
JAMB Requirements: No UTME (JAMB Score) is required
FUPRE Pre-Degree Programme
1. Improve prospective students’ performance in the WASC/NECO/GCE and equivalent examinations in order to enhance and to meet the admission requirements in Science and Engineering programmes.
2. Prepare candidates adequately for the UTME and Post-UTME examinations in order to enhance their admission chances to these programmes.
3. Improve the quality of candidates seeking admission to 100 level of FUPRE programmes and of other Universities.
FUPRE Pre-Degree Programmes.
The programme is an intensive nine (9) months teaching and coaching lessons in the following areas:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Geography
How to Apply for FUPRE Pre-Degree Admission Form
STEP 1: To apply for FUPRE Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) Programme, candidates are to pay a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) online and via bank.
UPON PAYMENT:
STEP 2: Log into www.fupre.edu.ng. Click on Predegree Registration link
STEP 3: Read the instructions and click Start Registration button
STEP 4: Fill the Online Application Form
STEP 5: Enter the Bank Teller details into the appropriate space
STEP 6: SUBMIT and print the confirmation page
NOTE: Admission to FUPRE 100 Level disciplines will be based on the average of final Basic Studies Examination and Jamb Scores.
