Following the completion of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) post UTME screening exercise for the 2014/2015 academic session, The management of the institution released the number of candidates that participated in the screening exercise and the carrying capacity of the institution.
FUOYE just concluded post UTME screening exercise lasted for 4 straight days (July 30 – August 2, 2014) and it would be the institution’s fourth time of conducting such screening exercise. The examination was purely computer based; each participant were presented their result some few hours after the completion of the exam.

From the information revealed by the institution, over 4,000 candidates registered for the examination, but only 3,729 showed up for the examination.
The carrying capacity of the institution have also increased by 50%. The chairman, organizing committee of the 2014 /2015 post- UTME exercise, Prof. Rasak Bakare revealed that the university’s carrying capacity had increased from 550 to 800 students.
