The Federal University, Oye –Ekiti in just two years of existence has set up an ICT -based Cisco Academy.
Mr. Isaac Olatunji Akoni, who is the Cisco Coordinator, South West Resource Centre, while speaking to the Information and Protocol officials of the University at the Ikechukwu Iheanacho ICT Centre (IIIC) where he certified the establishment of the Academy, said that FUOYE was more than qualified for the academy.
According to him, such development shows the visionary leadership of the institution as the world has gradually embraced ICT.
This move was to equip the students with added skills in networking and computer handling which will place them in high demand after graduation.
