The embattled Registrar of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Mr. Olatunbosun Odusanya, has been relieved of his duties as the institution registrar on Tuesday, April 27 following approval by the Governing Council of the university.
His sack follows the report of the Disciplinary Committee, which had suspended the registrar on April 20th, 2021 to pave way for investigations into allegations of misconduct levelled against him over irregularities in appointments between 1st August, 2020 and 10th February, 2021. The university’s Chief Information Officer, Foluso Ogunmodede and the Special Adviser on Media Matters to the Vice-Chancellor, Wole Balogun, conveyed his sack in a statement, saying it was approved by the university Governing Council after a thorough review of the Council's Disciplinary Committee which was set up to review the report of the Investigative Committee.
Mr. Mufutau Ibrahim was thereafter appointed as FUOYE’s acting Registrar.
