Following a series of deliberations between the university management and the Students Union Government leadership, we are delighted to announce that the FIDs fee has been temporarily removed from the primary fee on the portal for the finst semester, effective immediately.
This decision was made to ensure that students can proceed with their course registration without encountering any obstacles, thereby avoiding the risk of missing their examinations. It is essential to note that the first semester examination for the 2024/2025 academic session is scheduled to commence on Monday, 13th January 2025.
Please be advised that the removal of the FIDS fee from the portal is temporary and only applicable to the primary fee for the first semester. The fee will be reinstated immediately after your fist semester course registration, and students who did not make payment in the first semester will be required to settle their FIDS fee obligation prior to proceeding with their course registration for the subsequent semester.
It is essential to note that the FIDS fee must be paid through Remita and not through the E-wallet. We urge you all to take note of this important detail to avoid any payment issues. This is to avoid any hindrances next semester.
