The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), a prestigious higher education institution nestled in the Oye community, has recently announced its cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session admission exercise.
Understanding the Cut-Off Mark
The cut-off mark represents the minimum score an applicant must attain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for the post UTME screening exercise. This score acts as a yardstick to measure a student’s eligibility for admission into FUOYE. Scoring exactly or above this threshold means a candidate is qualified to participate in the screening process. Conversely, scores below the cut-off render a candidate ineligible for the post UTME at FUOYE.
A Brief History of FUOYE
One of the nine Federal Universities created by an executive order from the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, FUOYE boasts a rich legacy. Under the stewardship of its pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Chinedu Ostadinma Nebo, OON, FUOYE has grown into an eminent institution with campuses in Oye-Ekiti and Ikole-Ekiti.
