The Student Union Government of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI) has laid the foundation for their SUG secretariat. The event took place opposite the newly built medical hostel on Wednesday, 9th of September 2020.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Chinedum Uzoma Nwajiuba was present to perform the groundbreaking ceremony where he donated the sum of 10 million naira towards the completion of the secretariat.
Prof. Nwajuiba further promised to equip the secretariat to one of the best standards in Nigeria. He also donated 10 million naira to engineering students to carry out their Students Work Experience Program (SWEP) on the secretariat site.
