The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2023/2024 academic session.
About the Programme
The FUNAI Foundation programme, lasting for a ten-month duration, is an intensive coaching programme designed to prepare candidates for the JUPEB examinations. Success in these exams will allow direct entry admission into 200-level courses across numerous departments in FUNAI and over 60 universities in Nigeria and abroad affiliated with the JUPEB. Since its inception in 2014, FUNAI has received national recognition for its successful administration of these programmes.

FUNAI JUPEB Admission Eligibility & Duration
Eligibility:
To be eligible, candidates must have obtained a minimum of five credits in five relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply for FUNAI JUPEB Admission Form
To apply for admission into the JUPEB programme, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00) and follow the application instructions on the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (www.ces.funai.edu.ng).
- Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (www.ces.funai.edu.ng). On the menu bar, click on ePortal, and select “Start Online Application” from the drop-down menu. You will be required to supply your email address and other required information in order to start your online application.
- After creating an Account, login with your Application No. and Password and follow the necessary processes to capture your personal information and other required information.
- On your Account on the e-Portal, generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment. Payment can be easily made with your Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian Bank branch. After successful payment, click the required button to continue your online application.
- Ensure all sections of your application form are correctly filled, and click on “Complete Application” to submit your application to our online server. Our server shall acknowledge receipt of your form by sending an mail to your emaill address and SMS to your Mobile Phone. Print two coloured copies of your Application Form.
FUPRE JUPEB General Information.
- Applicants for the 2023/2024 preliminary programme are advised to visit the AE-FUNAI CES Website (www.ces.funai.edu.ng) for additional relevant information.
- A recent colored passport photograph with a white background must be provided by applicants (taken no earlier than 3 months prior to the application). Selfies, blurred photos, and webcam images are strictly prohibited.
- Disqualification and forfeiture of application fees will occur if applicants upload incorrect bio-data and credentials.
- Applicants should only report to the Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening when they have received an official Invitation and approved Admission Letter from the Director (sent via email). It is recommended to use valid email addresses and personal telephone numbers.
- It is advised that applicants carefully follow the application instructions and adhere to the provided guidelines. Failure to do so may have a negative impact on the candidate.
