Further to our circular referenced FUNAAB/REG 1INOL. 11/333 of January 21, 2021, it has come to the notice of the University Management that the guidelines as announced for resumption of academic activities are not been followed by some sets of people. All 100-300 level students were directed to attend their classes virtually for the 2019/2020 session until further notice. The decision to use online classes was taken to comply with the Federal Government directives against the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic and as a means to reduce the population in the University campus to an acceptable minimum All 100-300 Level students are therefore not expected to be found or seen loitering about in the University campus. Also, no Head of Department has been given the liberty or authorisation to invite any student or group of students covered by this decision to come to the University campus.
All 400 and 500 Level students, as well as 200 and 300 Level students of College of Veterinary Medicine (COLVET) that are allowed to come into the campus, must henceforth display their Identity Cards as a PASS to enter the campus in addition to complying with COVID-19 protocols. The Security Personnel at the gate have been directed to turn back any student that does not meet the above guidelines.
All students and staff are enjoined to cooperate with Management to ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations put in place to guide against the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic on campus
