Fully Funded PhD Studentship at Nottingham Trent University in UK

The Nottingham Trent University is offering fully funded Ph.D. studentship at the School of Science and Technology. This studentship competition is open to applicants who wish to study for a Ph.D. on a full-time basis only.

Ph.D. studentship is available in the area of Materials Synthesis Using Peptides to Generate Multifunctional Materials.

This studentship competition is open to applicants who wish to study for a Ph.D. on a full-time basis only. The studentships will pay UK/EU fees (currently set at £4121 for 2016/17 and are revised annually) and provide a maintenance stipend linked to the RCUK rate (this is revised annually and is currently £14,296 for academic year 2016/17) for up to three years. The studentships will be expected to commence in 2016. Applications from non-EU students are welcome, but a successful non-EU candidate would be responsible for paying the difference between non-EU and UK/EU fees. (Fees for 2016/17 are £12,600 for non-EU students and £4121 for UK/EU students).

Eligibility:

- Applicants are expected to have a minimum of a 2.1 at MChem/ MSci or Merit at Masters level (MSc or MRes) with some relevant research experience.

- Exceptional students who have only studied to BSc level will also be considered.

- Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
