The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Dr Ufo Ejike Akunna as the Acting Head of Department of Radiography for a period of one year with effect from September 5, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the vice-chancellor has, also, appointed the following persons:
2. Dr James Lokoja A. as the Acting Head of Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
3. Dr Agbo Paul as the Acting Head of Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
4. Dr Ahmed Muhammed Rabiu as the Acting Head of Department of Human Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
5. Ahmed Tijani Bako as the Acting Head of Department of Anesthesia, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
6. Dr Timjul Tanko Tyem as the Coordinator, Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
7. Dr Lawal Ahmed Abdulmumuni as the Acting Head of Department of Human Anatomy, Basic Medical Sciences.
8. Dr Yusuf Idris Abiola as the Acting Head of Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
9. Dr Ibrahim Tajudeen Lanre as the Acting Head of Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
10. Dr Egele C. Stanley as the Acting Head of Department of Orthopedic, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
11. Dr Mohammed Saliha Ozegya as the Acting Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.
12. Dr Lawal Mudashiru as the Acting Head of Department of Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
13. Dr Idris Ainavi Isah as the Acting Head of Department of Chemical Pathology and Immunology, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
14. Dr Esther Solomon Audu as the Acting Head of Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
15. Dr Ramalan Mansur as the Acting Head of Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences.
16. Dr Ukoma Chi-Kadibia Theophilus as the Coordinator Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
The statement added that all the appointments would subsist for a period of one year with effect from September 5, 2024.
