This is to remind staff and students that University Management hereby reiterates its earlier directives, dated 26 April, 2019, that staff and students should wear their Identification Card with Tag whenever they are on the campus. This is to ensure proper identification of staff and students at all times in view of the current security challenges. Staff and students are therefore enjoined to strictly comply with this directive in the interest of peace and security for all and sundry,
II. OBEYING CONSTITUTED AUTHORITIES
It has come to the attention of Management that some staff and students are fond of flouting orders/directives issued by Security Staff in the performance of their official duty Management strongly warns such staff and students to desist from such misconduct.
Staff and students should note that it is within the purview of Security Staff to enforce directives issued by Management.
Management, therefore, enjoins staff and students to always co-operate with security staff to ensure peace and security on campus.
III. STUDENTS TO USE THE CENTRAL MOSQUE FOR THEIR DAILY PRAYERS
Students are hereby reminded that they are still required to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines whenever they are on campus. In view of this, Muslim Students who usually use the mosque within the Administrative Block are advised to henceforth use the Central Mosque for their dally prayers. This measure is meant to decongest the crowd often witnessed when students attend the mosque in the Administrative Block due to its limited capacity.
