- First Semester Examinations (Apr 26 – May 6, 2023): Exams will be conducted for 300, 400, and 500 Level students.
- Revision & Display of C/A Results (May 1 – May 6, 2023): Revision and display of C/A results for new students from Stream I & II, 100 & 200 Level, and returning 200 Level students.
- First Semester Examinations (May 8 – May 20, 2023): Exams will be conducted for new students from Stream I & II, 100 & 200 Level, and returning 200 Level students, including GST & ESP examinations.
- Marking of Examination Scripts (Apr 26 – May 24, 2023): Marking will take place for all students.
- Departmental & Faculty Board Meetings (May 25 – May 27, 2023): Departmental and Faculty Board meetings will be held.
- Senate Business Meeting on Examination (May 29 – June 2, 2023): The Senate Business Committee will hold a meeting to discuss examination results.
- Emergency Senate Meeting on Examination (June 8, 2023): An emergency Senate meeting will be held.
- First Semester Break (May 6 – May 28, 2023): Students will have a three-week break.
FUGASHUA Second Semester Academic Calendar:
- Registration for All Students (May 29 – June 2, 2023): Students will complete their registration during this one-week period.
- Late Registration with Fine (June 5 – June 9, 2023): Students who fail to complete their registration during the initial period can do so within this week but will be subjected to a fine.
- Lectures (June 5 – July 29, 2023): Eight weeks of lectures will be held for all students.
- Add and Drop for ALL Students (July 31 – August 4, 2023): Students can add or drop courses during this one-week period.
- Revision & Display of C/A Results (August 7 – August 12, 2023): A week dedicated to the revision and display of Continuous Assessment (C/A) results.
- Second Semester Examination (August 14 – September 2, 2023): Examinations will be conducted over a three-week period.
- Marking of Examination Scripts (July 14 – September 8, 2023): Marking of examination scripts will take place, starting from the first day of the examination and lasting four weeks.
- Departmental & Faculty Board Meetings (September 11 – September 15, 2023): Departmental and Faculty Board meetings will be held during this five-day period.
- Senate Business Meeting on Examination (September 18 – September 22, 2023): A five-day Senate Business Committee meeting will be held to discuss examination results.
- Senate Meeting on Examination (September 28, 2023): A one-day Senate meeting will be held to discuss examination matters.
- Second Semester Break (September 2 – October 8, 2023): Students will have a five-week break after the conclusion of the second semester.
- Annual Leave for Academic Staff (September 8 – October 8, 2023): Academic staff will enjoy a 30-day annual leave.
- 2023/2024 Academic Session Begins (October 9, 2023): The new academic session will commence on this date.
